APRIL 1 - SPECIAL HOLY HOUR FOR VOCATIONS WITH FATHER CHASE

Please join the Catholic faithful for a special Holy Hour.  Rosary is at 6:30pm & Adoration holy hour for vocations with Father Chase Hilgenbrinck is at 7PM at historic St. Patrick’s Church in Bloomington.

APRIL 6 - CATHOLIC IGNITE HIGH SCHOOLERS MASS & MEAL (BLOOMINGTON)

Ignite Student ministries invites all high school aged Catholics to a Mass and Meal Night regardless of which parish they primarily go to. They will celebrate the Mass together at Epiphany at 5:30pm, and then eat dinner in Epiphany’s Parish Hall in Normal while we hear a message from Fr Jack!

APRIL 11 - FISH FRY ST. MARY'S (DOWNS, IL)

A fish fry is in St. Mary Church in Downs 5PM-7PM.

APRIL 11 - UNCOUPLED CATHOLICS STATIONS OF CROSS & FISH FRY

Uncoupled Catholics are a group of single Catholics from Bloomington-Normal and surrounding communities.  Stations of the Cross will immediately follow the 5pm Mass at St Patrick’s of Merna. Then, they will head over to the Knights of Columbus fish fry at St Mary’s in Downs, il.

EVENTS HAPPENING ONCE A WEEK

TUESDAYS - GRIEF AFTER LOSING A CHILD (NORMAL)

Tuesday evenings at the Epiphany parish hall in Normal from 6:30 to 8:30PM for anyone (parents or grandparents) who are searching for the hope of Christ and is dealing with the pain of losing a child (who died from mis-carriage, during childhood or died as an adult) recently or long ago.  Come whenever you are available.  It's 10 weeks and it's free.  It is a Catholic based program, but non-Catholics are definitely welcome.  Sign up is preferred, but not necessary.  Sign up at:

1st SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH - UNCOUPLED CATHOLICS COFFEE SOCIAL

Uncoupled Catholics are a group of single Catholics from Bloomington-Normal and surrounding communities.  Among other get-togethers, they have a Coffee Meet Up at 9AM on the first Saturday of each month at Lvl Up Coffee Bar in Normal. 1st SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH - JOIN A CARMELITE SPIRITUALITY GROUP
At 9AM, the "Carmelite Spirituality Group" will meet at historic St. Patrick's Catholic Church in the parish hall, in Bloomington. Is God calling you to become a Third Order Lay Carmelite? Do you want to learn more about the Carmelite way? If you are 18 years or older, and a Catholic in good standing, you are invited to attend the meetings held every 1st Saturday of the month. 2ND SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH – PRAYER FOR PRIESTS

All are welcome at Historic St. Patrick’s Church in Bloomington at 4:15PM.  They will pray the rosary, divine mercy chaplet and other prayers for current priests and for future priestly vocations. 

4th SUNDAY OF EACH MONTH - SECULAR FRANCISCAN MEETING (NEWCOMERS ARE WELCOME)

Have you been thinking about following Christ in the footsteps of St Francis of Assisi? If so, you are invited to visit the St Margaret of Corona Fraternity. They are an Order of Franciscan Seculars who meet the fourth Sunday of each month in the St Mary's of Bloomington Parish Hall (lower level below church) from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.  Do you want to promote peace, love, charity and goodness in your life? Then, you are welcome to come & see if this is the path to your journey of simplicity and community.

ONGOING – EUCHARISTIC REVIVAL VIRTUAL CATHOLIC CONFERENCE

Without having to go anywhere, you can have access to great free talks about Jesus’ presence in the Eucharist that you can play whenever you want.  In addition, there are some live talks, too.  Imagine for a moment what it could mean for our Church, our families, and the world if we realized that Jesus is present and more powerful than the storm around us.  Among the long list of speakers, you may recognize some of them, such as Dr. Gregory Popcak who hosts More2Life on Catholic Spirit Radio.  However, the conference is NOT affiliated with Catholic Spirit Radio.  It's not too late.  Sign up anytime.  You'll continue to have access until September 2025.  For more info, visit the website and hit register button:  https://go.virtualcatholicconference.com/ERC22
