CATHOLIC SPIRIT RADIO RECOGNIZED
Catholic Spirit Radio of Bloomington-Normal was recognized recently by their peers with an award during the 19th Annual EWTN Catholic Radio Conference held in Birmingham, Alabama. The station was recognized for the 2018 Best Short Form Message Production on Friday, November 9th. The Catholic Spirit Radio message, promoting teen listenership, was crafted by Advisory Board member Ann Weber, narrated by 13-year-old James Hinrichsen, and produced by station manager Jon Hall. The 60-second clip was chosen from among a field of 15 entries submitted nationwide by EWTN Radio affiliates. The award, in the shape of a leaded crystal microphone, was presented by Jack Williams, General Manager of EWTN Radio. Catholic Spirit Radio currently broadcasts from 89.5 and 92.5 FM to McLean County and soon will be broadcasting from Pontiac (88.3 FM) and Lincoln (97.1 FM).
